Željko Kulić is an expert in the field of urban engineering, territorial planning  and sustainable development of the cities. Currently employed in local administration in the City council of Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona province), at the Directorate For Territory And Sustainable Development as Head of Department for public equipments.

He conducted research in a field of Public administration  and promotion of Smart City and Facility management innovative methods and technological applications for improvements of public works and effectiveness of local government and companies.

Maruška Vizek PhD

Director and senior research associate at the Institute of Economics, Zagreb.

Lectures theme: The challenges of digital transformation in tourism: the impact of digital platforms for offering tourist accommodation on the real estate market

Maruška Vizek is the director and senior research associate at the Institute of Economics. She has a PhD at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb and for 17 years publishes high quality scientific research in the leading scientific journals in the area applied macroeconomics, international finances and international economics.

  • 2016–2018 – Strengthening scientific and research capacity of the Institute of Economics, Zagreb as a cornerstone for Croatian socioeconomic growth through the implementation of smart specialisation strategy – SmartEIZ, H2020 grant, team member

MSc Siim Esko

Head of International Projects at company Positium (Estonia).

Lectures theme: 10 reasons mobile phone transform (tourism) data collection

Siim Esko is the Head of International Projects at company Positium LBS, Tartu (Estonia). He is managing international projects in the field of tourism, mobility and population statistics based on mobile positioning data.

Key projects:

  • 2018 – Ministry of Tourism, Republic of Indonesia cross-border tourism statistics from MPD methodology development, platform and capacity building,
  • 2018 – Impact Assessment of Asian Games 2018 based on MPD – BAPPENAS (Ministry of Planning of the Republic of Indonesia,
  • 2016 – Pilot study on measuring tourism overcrowding with MPD in Dubrovnik, Croatia – DURA (Dubrovnik Development Agency) etc.

Goran Gumze PhD

Head of International office and lecturer on Alma Mater Europaea ECM, among others is
vice-dean of research and international project.

Lectures theme: Religious Radicalism and Terrorism in digital era

Currently works as the Head of International office and lecturer on Alma Mater Europaea
ECM, among others is vice-dean of research and international project currently working on
Erasmus+ K2 project SAFEMEDIC, developing the digital course for prevention and coping
with violence in health service.
For the last two and a half years he worked on the EU Commission project MATES (De-
radicalisation and re-socialisation of radicalised youth). He also cooperates in creation of
study program on Migration and Integration. He lectures on bachelor and Master programs
teaching Historical anthropology and Anthropology of family life.
Being involved in inter-cultural studies since 2004, he has gained relevant understanding of importance of cultural, linguistic and religious differences and usage of digital technology in establishment of intercultural dialog.
